Sexual Intelligence, What We Really Want from Sex--and How to Get It

Creator: Marty Klein | Health & Fitness - 2012-02-07

This is not your standard sex book.

Publisher: Harper Collins

About this book
This is not your standard sex book. Sex therapist, sociologist, and Psychology Today contributor Dr. Marty Klein goes beyond the sex manuals to reveal how our mindsets during sex are more important than any tricks or techniques—and that the way to a healthier, more exciting, more fulfilling sex life lies in first developing our sexual intelligence. This book is the antidote to the many gimmick-oriented sex guides and manuals; Dr. Klein shows us how to reorient how we think about sex in order to experience a truly different way of being sexual.“Marty Klein is the Steve Jobs of sex advice. . . . Sexual Intelligence is a work of enormous wisdom and expansiveness, and will inspire readers, regardless of age, to realize their full sexual potential.”  —Ian Kerner, best-selling author of She Comes First

Staying with Seagate over the years,,

I was introduced to Seagate about 2001 when I needed to replace the 'whopping big' 13½GB hard drive in my first computer, an IBM early model pc. I chose a 160 GB Seagate and it functioned perfectly until the 1999 Sony was retired. I also have a Seagate "Expansion" 3TB hard drive that is loaded with my entire film library of over 1400 titles. I bought this Seagate principally to back up my two computers every week via their "Windows Easy Transfer" function. I was especially pleased to get it for a most modest cost. Placed in use, I find that it still has over 1.4TB remaining, so I intend to load it with my 50+ operas and classical music selections. Additionally I have a Seagate 500GB FreeAgent external hard drive my computer tech sold me to use for genealogical work. I am editing my previous glowing review for Seagate. I bought a 3 TB model from the company and it came in a box just slightly larger than the drive's factory box and having room on one side for an inch layer of styrofoam... 5/5 Charles Scott PA (Hutchinson, Kansas) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Seagate FreeAgent Desk 1 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive ST310005FDA2E1-RK (Silver) (Personal Computers) I got this HDD for a really good price. I was told it was 500gb but it ended up being a TB. (nice)....when I got it I thought it was broken because it didn't turn on. But I found out the charger had 2 parts. the prongs snapped into the block. so I put a rubber band around it to push the prongs and the block tighter together and now it works. the only other problem (Really easy fix) is the usb was the old slow kind so my xbox games would frees here and there. But I just put a faster 2.0 usb on it and it works fine. (2.0 are the most common...they cost ablout 1-99c) Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , July 31, 2015

    Bargain price, bargain features

This drive does what it's supposed to, store lots of files cheaply with minimum hassle. No weird unremovable software like Western Digital drives. I repartitioned and reformatted as HFS+ for Mac and got the full 2TB (by Snow Leopard's accounting). You do have to change the partition type to GUID or APM instead of MBR, as other commenters have mentioned, which Apple makes frustratingly non-obvious in Disk Utility. This is true for any drive that comes partitioned/formatted for Windows, so it's not really Seagate's fault, Apple is the one who invented their own partition method and they should make their own disk partitioning software easier to use. This drive is sort of quiet, although you definitely notice when it spins up/down and when it's being accessed. The whole front panel of dots glows a soft white light when in use. Sort of unnecessary, but not offensive, except if total darkness is important to you.Two things make it kind of... 4/5 501(c)Geek (San Francisco, CA) - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?) Great overall drive

Update of my previous review of this product:Bought this product in February 2009. Worked fine in the beginning. However, over time, the icon kept disappearing and sometimes would not show up on the "My Computer" screen. Tonite, I tried to do a backup and the entire unit is dead. Just clicks for a few moments and is silent. This can't be normal after just a year and a half of service.Am running Vista 32 on a Dell computer which is little more than 2 yrs old. This may be the last time I buy something from Seagate.Original review:This drive is billed as one with plenty of room and it surely does!! My reason for buying this drive against all similar drives was the esata since I had a esata port on my new computer and naturally wanted to take advantage of the added speed. Ran a backup with the eSATA and it works fine - and much faster!! Done through USB a similar backup would have been at least an hour. With esata, the... 4/5 Gilbert K. Great external drive for lots of data

I was a bit cautious about ordering this drive given some of the reviews I've seen here, but given amazon's return policies and a good history with Seagate products, I decided to go ahead with this purchase.I bought 2 of the drives (both 1.5TB) and I use them for offline backups of my server (which, in addition to day to day data from our laptops, has our entire photo, audio, and video collections). I had been using Seagate 750GB drives for this for the past couple of years, but am outgrowing them and so decided to double the space.I looked also at the Western Digital 2TB drive, but it was substantially more expensive (almost double of the 1.5TB drive) and I couldn't justify the additional cost for just .5TB more, especially when I'm just outgrowing the 750GB drive.Anyway, the drive arrived I hooked up power and used the existing firewire cable that I had been using for the old drive and it was immediately recognized by my system (Dell Latitude... 5/5 Conor P. Has anyone had sucess returning theris???...

Ill give it a 2 since I guess ah.. when it actaully worked, it seemed to work well. Well besides the fact its extremely unvista friendly, and the seagate manager does not agree with vista I guess.. Other then that yea... I thought this thing was suppose to have a 5 year warranty however after a year mine started to crap on me. No longer works with the esata cable. And only sorta works with firewire. It also has a fair ratio of no completely freezing my cpu when its plugged in as well.My question is has anyone had any success with their return policy? How anal are they about returning these things? In their warranty notes they warn you that if they feel the drive still works they will charge you with the shipping and wasting there time. Well.. ive used there seagate tools etc to test my drive, and randomly it says the drive is ok. Other times(when im trying to copy something or a large file and it starts to slow down)I will get errors. And I get a red stop signish symbol... 2/5 some dude - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?)
